When meeting with her patients, she strives to develop a shared vision of how they would like the care to proceed while keeping in mind their goals and the most evidenced-based practice. In her free time, Dr. Liu likes to spend time outdoors with her husband, son and golden retriever by hiking, going to parks and swimming. She also enjoys exercising, practicing yoga, cooking, baking and playing the piano.
